IFMA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP - MAY 2023
The Australian Team headed to Thailand to compete in the IFMA Worlds. Part of the Australian Team was one of Kao Sok's fight team Shannon Gardiner.
Shannon's performance was outstanding taking home the Gold. Over the six days Shannon had 3 fights and 3 dominate wins. Shannon's first fight she was up against Amenzee Omozuwa from Canada and won with a 30-26 win. Fight 2 was on against Algeria in the Semi Finals winning all three rounds and getting two 10-8 rounds with the fight ending with 30-25. Fight 3 was for the Gold in the finals. The fight was a good back and forth fight but Shannon was in form and won in convincing style with 30-27 win.
Congratulations Shannon on winning gold for Australia, great work throughout the IFMA World Championships in Bangkok.
